If you want your child to attend a school outside your district, please apply for the School of Choice program. The application period opens in March 2025 and closes in August 2025.

All students already enrolled in Godfrey-Lee Public Schools will need to fill out Verification Forms every year through PowerSchool's Parent Portal. If you need help with login information, please contact our office. PowerSchool also has an app that all parents should download to access grades, attendance, and other important information.

NEW STUDENT Enrollment
Godfrey-Lee Public Schools is pleased to provide families with centralized enrollment all year long for students that live in the Godfrey-Lee school district. All new student enrollments, from Kindergarten through 12th grade, are completed at the Administration Office by our friendly staff.
Online Enrollment for all grades K-12 for the current school year is available! Enrollment Links for students that are new to Godfrey-Lee are available in English and Spanish below. Once you have completed the online form, please visit our Administration Office with your Required Enrollment Documents - listed below.
Students and families who wish to enroll should visit the Administration Office 1324 Burton Street, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will be closed on Fridays throughout the Summer.
Required documents for new student registrations
Please bring the following documents with you:
Certified and Original Birth Certificate
- Immunization Record Vaccines (doctor can provide)
Lunch/Breakfast Form
Consent To Treat
Two (2) Proofs of current Residency (any two of the following documents):
- Utility bill, showing occupancy
- Copy of current lease agreement, showing occupancy
- Current mortgage document, showing ownership and occupancy
- Copy of current property tax statement, showing owner occupancy
- Driver's License, or other certified ID with the correct address
PRE-SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
- Physical/Health appraisal dated 9/01/2023 or LATER
ONLY KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS
- Vision Screening
- Current Physical for Kindergarten
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
- Transcripts (from the previous school, if entering grades 9-12)
- Current report card

Walking Bus Registration
What is a Walking School Bus?
A walking school bus is a group of children walking to school with one or more adults. That may sound simple, and that is part of the appeal. It can be as informal as two families taking turns walking their children to school or as structured as a planned route with meeting points, a timetable and a schedule of trained volunteers. This approach has been successfully used across the country and at schools in West Michigan. Godfrey-Lee will have two staff members per route that are trained crossing guards to walk with students to school.

School Bus Registration
We will have two bus routes, one for students NORTH of Chicago Drive and one for students SOUTH of Burton Street. Please see the forms below to view the routes and stops. If you are interested in signing your student(s) in Kindergarten through 5th grade up for the school bus, click the link below to sign up.
Space on the School Bus is LIMITED and immediate availability is NOT GUARANTEED.

Pre-School Programming
Godfrey-Lee currently does not have a Pre-School Program. We are hoping to bring it back soon! In the meantime, if you are interested in the 4 year old preschool you can apply to the Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP). You may contact them directly at 616-323-3199 for more information.
